London based designer, J. Maskrey, began her dazzling career as a makeup artist, but soon broke away from traditional methods and began using crystals to make wearable, glamorous art. Maskrey has since attained cult status among the fashion elite for her “skin jewelry.”

Her avant-garde work with crystals caught the eye of Melissa Shoes, and in 2003 a collaboration between the two major fashion brands was born. J. Maskrey lends her affinity for all things lovely to the Melissa Ultragirl flat, with the unexpected addition of hand-placed Swarovski crystals.
